Sona Star and Sona College of Technology in association with “Tomorrow's Technology Today” imparted world-class technical training

Salem Sona Star and Sona College of Technology in association with “Tomorrow’s Technology Today” imparted world-class technical training to the Faculty & Students. Six outstanding projects have been implemented in a span of about six months through a unique research center called 3DX, started by Mr. Thyagu Valliappa, Vice Chairman of Sona Institutions and CEO of Sona Star and under the mentorship of industry expert Mr.Rabindra Sah.

In this project, 150 students and 20 professors have been given special training in advanced technologies like automatic electric vehicle, drone, ARVR facility and this project has been put into operation. Thyagu Valliappa, Vice-Chairman of Sona Group, aims to create more entrepreneurs. Accordingly, this program has been started and the students have been given enormous industry knowledge.

Management appreciated Suresh Rao, Sona Star Business Consultant, Professor Senthil Kumar, Head of Mechanical Department, Deputy Head Professor Muralitharan for excellent coordination execution of Training and Projects

150 students and 20 professors who studied and implemented these 6 projects for 6 months were felicitated by the Vice Chairman of Sona Institutions, Mr. Thyagu Valliappa and industrial expert Mr.Rabindra Sah.

Client: Valli & Co. Project

Project: Digitization, Creative Image Processing, Simulation modelling of products with AI, website development with end-to-end solutions including the marketplace.

Products handled: Complete range of interior furnishings.

Problem statement: The customer was using manual ways to showcase various products to their clients by utilising manpower and repeated transportation for carrying heavy product catalogues, and thereby wasting valuable time, money & resources.

Solutions offered: Website development, digitization through creative image patterns, and processing of product samples using simulation of various models for product visualisation, coding of images/products, unit pricing, and integration of social media handles to TGA.
